What happens if I do a Project and the Employer does not pay me?

While we will seek legal action against all proven cases of fraud and scam, it can be very difficult to prove a completed service or lack of compensation because it comes down to the word of one individual verse the word of the other individual.

It is best to simply follow these guidelines to avoid this circumstance:

- Always use the Secure Escrow System.
- If you opt to use another payment method, Employers should never pay an assistant unless the work has been completed and Assistants should arrange financial terms prior to providing a service.

If both parties are on the same term before any work begins then it is highly unlikely there will be any trouble in payment.  However, if an individual were truly seeking to make an unfair transaction, it would be difficult to prevent this unless the Secure Escrow System was utilized.

Warning to All Assistance: If you are not using the Secure Escrow System, it will be hard to prove financial terms between the two parties unless you have both signed a written form and agreed on the stated terms.

If there are any questions, concerns, or specific cases of such incidents, report them immediately to the DoMyStuff.com Webteam.
